I entered my credit card information, but the system won't accept the payment.

If you entered all your information and the system will not accept your payment, please confirm the following:


1. Please confirm you correctly entered your credit card number, expiration date, and security code. The security code is the 3-digit code on the back of VISA, Mastercard, and Discover cards. It is normally in the signature area. For American Express cards, the security code is the four-digit code on the back of the card.


2. Please confirm you correctly checked off "Debit" versus "Credit" card.


3. Please confirm you checked the box "I acknowledge that in making this payment, I read and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Use and User Agreement".


4. Confirm the address you entered is the billing address. The system will specifically check the zip code for a match to the credit card information.


5. You may need to check with your bank that you are approved for "debits" and/or the amount of the payments as many banks have limits set up.


6. Your credit card may not allow property tax payments.
