Is CoreLogic participating as a Payer with Autoagent?

Modified on Tue, Nov 5 at 1:02 PM

Yes, CoreLogic is an active Payer for hundreds of Tax Offices who have partnered with Autoagent. However, we are aware they have their own portal for their own business and tax servicing. We know they have attempted to contact Tax Offices to request they use it which may cause some confusion to Autoagent's role. Here are some facts that we would like to share to clear up any confusion.

Facts:

  1. The CoreLogic portal is only for CoreLogic and nobody else
  2. That portal represents a 1/3 of the big picture
  3. It will require constant manual data feeds from the tax office
  4. The support will logically be very minimal from CoreLogic.
  5. The CoreLogic Portal cannot stop a duplicate payment, on the same parcel, if you have not yet posted the payment from another payer. For example, if CoreLogic attempts a payment for a parcel in their portal, ABC Bank attempts to make payment on the same parcel in Autoagent, and you are waiting for ABC funds to post, your file will still reflect unpaid causing CoreLogic to also pay. This will result in a refund needed.

The Tax Office is the one and only authority that decides how to conduct their mass pay escrow collections. We cannot force any company to use Autoagent, just as those companies cannot refuse to provide payments using the process you require of them.

Whatever your decision may be, Autoagent is here to stay and serve you. That is EXACTLY the difference between Autoagent and all these servicing companies. We work for YOU!
